A few weeks back, I tried coconut oil in my hair and was so amazed with the results. I actually tried it along with the oatmeal mask from my series 1 self-care challenge. Figured I might as well tackle both things at once. To my surprise, it was an amazing treatment for my hair. Okay, I know I’m probably late to this amazing cure for your hair, but I figured I’d share it for people who were reluctant to try it, like myself.
It’s super simple: just put grab a good amount and spread it in your hair, massaging the scalp and focusing on the ends. Leave it in their for about half an hour. You could also liquefy the oil, but I thought that would get too messy so I just left it as is. This works perfect for when you have a face mask in and can shower it off together. Before you start using this miraculous oil, I figured you might want to know why it is so special.

Seriously, why was I so late to trying this out?!
I’m going to make sure to make it a habit to do this at least once a week or every two weeks. I couldn’t believe the amazing results I got from just one use. Who needs those chemically processed products for your hair, when nature has the best cure? It’s probably much cheaper too, since this is a stable in a lot of people’s kitchen. And if not, then come hop on the bandwagon because there are so many other amazing benefits for coconut oil that are too long for this post. This is the reason why I decided to break down the benefits of coconut oil, so that you are not overwhelmed and that you can try it one thing at a time.
