Current Favorite Drug Store Makeup

drug store makeup current favorites

Hi guys,

I wanted to share with you today some of my favorite drug store makeup. With some of these products, I am planning on replacing them completely instead of the high-end dupes because they are that good!

Without further ado:

  1. Essence – I love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara

This has easily become my favorite mascara. The crazy and best part of this mascara is it is only $4.99! I was seriously shocked at how well it turned out. I just wanted to try it to give drug store makeup a chance, and this blew me away. It might replace Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara for me which is crazy because as you know from this post, it has been my favorite for a while. I feel like I said crazy a lot and for you to believe me you just have to try this mascara! I got mine from Target, but you can also find it on Amazon.

2. Maybelline Blackest Black Gel Eyeliner

If you follow Jaclyn Hill then you know this is her ride or die eyeliner and for all the right reasons! This is so smooth, easy to apply and looks great on. I use this for when I want to do a winged eyeliner look, but however you would like to use it for, this should be your go-to! I had the Make Up For Ever Dupe before this one and I hated that one, and I can’t believe Maybelline one works so much better! This one is only $7.74 compared to Make Up For Ever, which is $23.

3. Ardel – Demi Wispies

These are very new to me, but I am obsessed! They are so easy to apply and look so natural, yet flirty and cute. I love Ardel eyelashes and go back and forth with 120 and 105 but the wispies have replaced both of those! These are $11.89 for a pack of 5 or I believe $3.99 for one pack. For a high end eyelashes just for one is $20! Save your money girl and get these instead!

4. Wet n Wild – Pearlescent Pink Blush

This is such a great formula! I really would have never guessed Wet n Wild would’ve killed it with this product 🙂 I’m honestly shocked because this blush was only $5.83!!! My favorite Nars blush is around $40. If you are on a budget, this is a great dupe, not necessarily for the Nars orgasm blush, as it is not the same shade, but this one is such a beautiful pink blush. I think it would work with many skin tones.

5. Maybelline – Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer

I love how this applies. Maybelline makes it easy for you with the little sponge head on the concealer stick which applies very nicely.  This product promises to erase dark circles, but I don’t really use it for that. I love using this to highlight high points on my face as well as under my eyes. The shade I bought is light pale. I think it’s a great dupe for high end concealer, although, for me this didn’t replace my favorite Tarte shape tape concealer, but I also think that product is made of magic so that’s hard to replace 🙂

6. L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

This is really great coverage for all my oily/troubled skin people, like myself. They also have one for dry skin, which I would advise you to buy that one if that is your skin type. This one is a matte finish and dries pretty quickly, so beware. It’s a beautiful finish and will cover all of your problems 🙂 I usually apply one thin layer, let that dry then apply another one, but you can definitely get away with one application for this.

That is all for my current favorites! If I try anything else, I will update you guys on it as I really feel you can save your money by buying the less expensive options!

Have a great day!

xoxo,

Ozzy
