September Favorites – 2017

September Favorites

Hello everyone,

Thanks for visiting Memoallure!

I took a poll on Instagram last week and most of you voted for me to do this post, so here we are — what I’ve been loving for the month of September!

I’ve had so more favorites in the month of September, which is always exciting, and I wanted to share them with you πŸ™‚ I have a few beauty products as well as healthy treats I’ve been enjoying!

We’ll start with Beauty πŸ™‚

Benefit – Hoola Contour Stick

September Favorites

I’ve actually already told you guys about this on my Instagram story, but also wanted to share with everyone here. I am loving this. It is so easy to use and looks beautiful on. It’s probably one of the easiest ways to contour. If you are a beginner, this product is for you. It’s easy to blend, the color is not too intense and a great on-the-go product. You don’t even need a brush for this. I’ve been just blending it with my beauty blender.

L’Oreal – Beauty Blender

Ulta Beauty Haul

Talking about beauty blenders, I’ve been loving this one by L’Oreal. I don’t think it’s actually called a beauty blender because that would breach the TM of the actual name of the beauty blender, but it’s just what I’m calling it. This is so soft and gives you a beautiful finish. Compared to the Beauty Blender, which is $20, this is only $6 on Amazon. It’s $7 at CVS. Save yo money girl and use this! I go through so many beauty blenders that sometimes it’s nice to switch things up and not waste so much money on such a small product. Ugh, it breaks my heart and my bank account! In all honesty, as much as I love this, I still think the Beauty Blender is the better product. I want to always be up front and honest with you guys, and hope that you can make your own judgement after my opinion. But for the price point in comparison, obviously it is a great dupe for the real thing and I will surely purchase this again!

Too Faced Peach Blur

September Favorites

This is from their new peach collection and I think they killed it with this collection. I tried their highlighters at Sephora and I was so in love with it, but I was trying to be mindful of my bank account so I didn’t buy it! I’ve also heard great things about their foundation, which seems to be a light to medium coverage and they always do such a great job with their eye shadow palette’s, so I trust that they are also amazing. This product in particular did not disappoint. It does actually smell like peaches and leaves your skin looking so soft and smooth. It’s a great finishing touch and the packaging is to die for, in my opinion. They are always so cute with their packaging and sometimes the reason I buy some products, oops guilty!

Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss

September Favorites

Once again, I posted this on my Instagram (I tend to let you guys know about everything I’m loving there first), and I love this so much! I wonder if Rihanna was thinking of her “Pon de replay” days when she made this because it brings me back to the old days of wearing flavored lip gloss and having a beautiful shine on your lips! It’s not tacky and just perfect, trust me! I just watched Desi Perkins makeup tutorial of the Galaxy collection by Fenty Beauty which is coming up for the holidays and I can’t wait to try them!

Living proof. Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

September Favorites

Okay, I may have found the most perfect dry shampoo out there. This knocks Batiste out of the park — like far, far, far out. I will repurchase and stay loyal to this for the rest of my life. Whenever I use Batiste, I notice that it’s usually for only one time use and using it the second day just gets gross and not cute. But with Living proof., it’s a different story. This one I was able to use 4 days in a row!!! Now, let me tell you at age 25 this is something to get really excited about and also this is unheard of for my hair. I have very thin hair and it gets greasy so fast. This is my saving grace. I love this so much. When I used to work at Sephora, I always knew Living proof. had bomb products, but I never tried their dry shampoo. So unfortunate, I know, but glad I’ve discovered this because I’m pretty sure I will never wash my hair again….just kidding…or am I? You’ll never know πŸ™‚

Tatcha One step camellia cleansing oil + Tatcha Polished classic rice enzyme powder

September Favorites

September Favorites

This comes in a package of two if you buy the travel size at Sephora, which is what I did. I tend to do that a lot to try products, so if I don’t like them, at least they weren’t too expensive and you fully tried them by having a good amount of trials with it. Yes, I know you can easily return stuff at Sephora, but to me that’s just annoying and probably damaging to my bank account, because I have no self-control with makeup. This combo from Tatcha has been amazing for my skin. I saw Christine Dominique using it, so I had to go out and buy it myself. Cue the creepy girl from mean girls:

army-pants-and-flip-flops

Yeah, that was me! No shame! I love the oil in this, although, it does not remove all of my makeup, but I am okay with that because I will use my makeup wipes as my first step. My skin has been the clearest it’s been in a while aka this girl is so happy with this product πŸ™‚

On to the healthy treats I’ve been lovin’ πŸ™‚

Health-Ade Kombucha in PomegranateΒ

September Favorites

I’ve been loving drinking this with dinner in a wine glass. If you follow me on Snapchat, you already saw this. But I love the flavor of this and the benefits of Kombucha! I usually always drink water with every meal but this kind of spices things up for me and makes my life so much more exciting. But really, I really feel like I’m pampering myself drinking this out of a wine glass, you should definitely try it!

On to another good for you probiotics:

Thirty acre farm SauerkrautΒ

September Favorites

This was my first time trying Sauerkraut and it did not disappoint. I love this so so much. I put it on my salads and it adds such a nice crunch and flavor. It’s not too overpowering, super subtle in fact. According to Livestrong.com, Sauerkraut provides substantial amount of fiber and vitamin C and K. It boosts your energy and immune system with iron. Sauerkraut is cabbage that has been fermented. When it goes through the fermenting process, it produces many different types of live bacteria. Which in turn, can help you get rid of the bad bacteria in your gut, when consumed. Apart from all that great info, I genuinely have been enjoying this, so double win πŸ™‚

Almond Butter Granola from Trader Joe’s

September Favorites

I usually love making my own granola, but you know life happens, and sometimes you just don’t have time for that. When I was not able to meal plan for the week, and want granola for breakfast, I reach for this. Not sure exactly how healthy this is as I haven’t taken a look at the back for ingredients, but sometimes you gotta live dangerously and go for what you want, ya know? This is so delicious on yogurt, oatmeal, acai bowls, chia pudding, banana nice cream…basically on anything!

Coco-Roons The Original Superfood Cookie – Brownie

September Favorites

I purchased this at Whole Foods and I love it. Well, I guess, duh this is a favorites post, so it only makes sense… Anyways, this really does taste like brownies, but a little different texture. Serving size for this is 2 and honestly once you have the two, you are good to go. It satisfies my sweet tooth and I don’t have any belly-ache from it because the ingredients are super “clean”. I can’t wait to try other flavors!!

Trader Joe’s Coconut Creamer

September Favorites

This thing is creamy for sure. If you are fan of half and half for your coffee, give this a try, it’s a great replacement for it. Don’t get me wrong, I love my half and half for my coffee, but I try to switch things up so that I can reduce my dairy consumption, and this is great for that. If you are lactose and tolerant, then you will love this!

HU Hazelnut Butter Dark Chocolate

September Favorites

This is hands down the best dark chocolate out there. I love the hazelnut butter in it. It doesn’t feel too heavy but it also doesn’t feel like it should be healthy at all. It feels like you are eating an overly-sugary candy bar, but you’re not! It also feels like you are eating Nutella, but it’s a bit healthier than Nutella without the added sugar. It’s like you’re being naughty without the guilt. Although, you should never ever feel guilty for what you eat, treat your body kindly and don’t punish it!

Lucy’s Chocolate Chip Gluten-Free Cookies

September Favorites

This is as 2017 as it can get. These cookies are gluten free, dairy free, no peanuts, vegan, and magical. Yes, that’s right they are magical because these taste like regular cookies. I love having these with some chocolate almond milk. It satisfies me so much, I love you Lucy’s!

Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

September Favorites

Okay, this one here might be my favorite out of everything else on this post. This is the best thing your mouth will ever taste — that is, if you enjoy coffee. I love the crunch in this and never thought I would enjoy eating espresso beans, but yes, I enjoy them very much.

Miscellaneous:

Bath & Body Works Pumpkin & Apple Candle

September Favorites

This screams fall. Apple’s and Pumpkin… what else do you really need for fall? This smells so amazing and makes my house smell so nice. Fall to me is such a relaxing season. It’s a time to stay in more often and just relax on your couch with a good book. Or maybe that’s just me and I’ve become a grandma at age 25….who knows!

Let me know what you guys enjoy doing in the fall, I would love to know! Hope everyone has an amazing season with the people they love. Enjoy the changes and enjoy the things you love πŸ™‚
