This past weekend, I wore my new coat I got during the Black Friday sale (RIP the money I used to have) and received so many compliments on it! I wanted to share it with you guys as I believe it is a staple piece to add to your wardrobe.
As someone who is perpetually cold, I believe this is New England weather safe. I was so warm in it! It makes any outfit so professional and cute also! So if you’re the 9-5 type of gal like myself then this is definitely office approved.
I got this coat from Madewell and I feel that it was worth every penny. I think this will be in my wardrobe for quite some time as it is a staple piece where I can wear over and over again! I bought this during the 25% sale, which honestly never really happens for this store, so I had to take advantage of it.
If you are looking for more sales at Madewell, I have a feeling there will be more before the Holiday season is over! As I’ve said in this post, when there are no sales, I always shop the sales rack because it’s usually stuff that was recently full priced. They turnover their full priced items into sale items fairly quickly, which is great for you and I! 🙂
I paired the coat with this black dress and neutral colored boots! Feel that it looked most professional with this but you could really wear this coat with anything. I wore it with a cute top and high rise jeans and it also looked so cute! And I think I have the right idea with this coat and the dress because it looks like they are a best seller on their site! Also, the dress is on sale for $59.99.
I am not so much into turtlenecks, but this season I am loving the mock necks. I feel that it makes the outfit so elegant and professional. If you are not a turtleneck person either, definitely give this a try! For the boots, I bought mine at L&T and it looks like they are still having a 25% sale, so it might be a good time to purchase them 🙂
Here are all the details:
Happy shopping and thank you for reading!
Until next time,
Disclaimer: I am not sponsored by this post, just sharing what I am loving this fall.
