New Smashbox Cosmetics Be Legendary Liquid Lipsticks | Review
I wanted to share these lipsticks with you guys before any of your holiday parties that may be coming up for you because these lipsticks are definitely holiday approved!
They are so festive and so wearable. Even the darker shade looks amazing and not too crazy. Usually, darker shades are hard to pull off, but I did not feel that I had that problem with this one.
These are not matte and are a bit tacky but just the right amount. I only got two shades but I am super happy with both of them.
I know I will be wearing them all winter long. I really feel like they are both shades that I can wear without feeling like I’m being “too much” or “extra”. I’ve come to terms with being extra, though, I’m totes okay with it!
The first shade I got was the Big Apple – which is a warm, shimmery red. Honestly, it screams Christmas. It’s so festive and so cute. It’s officially my favorite red – at least for the holidays.
I will definitely do a holiday look for you guys with this because I really think you should flaunt this at your next holiday party! Or even at your next ugly sweater party and have your makeup be on point! 🙂 And what girl doesn’t love a classic red lip! My boyfriend loved it too so I am thinking it is boyfriend approved.
SECOND SHADE:
Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick – Brains ‘N’ Bronze
This ones a dark brown but shimmery color. I don’t know how to quite explain it as it is quite unique. I absolutely love this one. I have a hard time pulling off dark shades as my lips are pretty small, but I feel like this one works on me. I’m not sure how or why – maybe it’s the glitter. Or maybe it’s made of magic?! Ha! Anyways, love this for the winter, it’s absolutely beautiful!
Sorry my hair is a mess in this picture haha. My selfie game is apparently not that strong. I also will definitely use lip liners with these so that it is not as messy.

I honestly cannot get enough of these two shades. I just want to wear them all the time. I guess the only occasion that is probably not wearable is in an office. You probably couldn’t pull these off in a professional space…unless your work is cool with that – and if so, are they hiring?! Because I would love to wear crazy makeup to work! Ha!
On the down side…
As much as I love these shades, I do want to be critical and say that I’ve noticed it comes off pretty easily – for me that’s no problem as long as I like the shade and it is wearable. It will come off after eating or drinking, but that’s kind of normal for any lipstick unless it is a matte liquid lipsticks – those tend to last longer.
Overall, I think theses two shades will make your holidays super festive and spice it up with some sass! Hope you enjoy the holidays and hope your makeup is on point for it. 🙂
