Two Books I’ve Read in February | Review

As some of you know from my previous post about my 2018 reading list, my goal for this year is to read two books per month.
I can proudly say, I have accomplished that so far. It definitely does take dedication, but like I’ve said, I didn’t put myself on a high unachievable goal. It is a goal that’s, yes a bit challenging, but also very achievable with a little habit change.
The two books I’ve read this month had both the same feel to it, which was about reaching your goals and dreams. They were both written so uniquely and had a dreamy feel to it.
The first book I’ve read is The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
This is a very well written book and is written almost like a poem. One of the first books I’ve read where the writing wasn’t all structured the same as any other book. I guess it makes sense with the title of the book being about art and that writing is a form of art. I see what you did there Steven Pressfield….
If you are struggling to create something because of your negative thoughts or your own laziness, give this book a try. It allows you to step out of your shell and to step out of your conformity and to get closer to your authentic self. It’s, in a way, a book about how to get closer to your soul and to your souls calling. I highly recommend it. It’s also an easy read.
The next book I’ve read (which many of you probably already read), is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
I think I finished this book within a week. I have never read a book this fast since I was in high school. The last books that got me feeling like I was in a fantasy world, all caught up in their world was Twilight. Ha! I know, good ol’ days (or maybe not for Twilight haters…). This books is officially my favorite book out of any other book I have read. This book is written so well and so magically that it takes you to another place.
The Alchemist is a good book on teaching you life lessons, to get closer to your soul and to never stop being a dreamer. It shows you that absolutely anything is possible for you if you just ask and want it bad enough. This book is about a little boy going out and finding his treasure and I feel that this book is a treasure in itself. I felt so happy reading this and if you haven’t read it yet….what are you doing!! Go and get this book, and thank me later. 🙂
Both of the books had the Law of Attraction embedded in them, so if that’s your thing, then these books will be helpful for you in your journey.
Thanks for reading!
xx, Ozzy
