Spring Ulta Haul | 2018

I gave up buying makeup for lent, so when I was finally allowed in Ulta again, I felt like a kid in a candy store, unsupervised. But really I’m happy to have gone so many days without buying makeup, knowing that I can do that again, and not go overboard buying things I really don’t need.
I’m excited to share the products I’ve bought because I know some of them are amazing, and some I’m excited to try out. As always, if I end up loving any of these, you guys will know in my April Favorites post coming at the end of the month!
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion & Facial Spray
Both of these products are the holy-grail from this skin care line and I think if you’ve never tried this brand, these two products should be the first ones to try out. The drying lotion is for any big pimples that may pop up. You would usually wear it at night as it leaves a pink mark on your skin. It really reduces the pimple a lot faster than it would’ve otherwise. The facial spray is one that I tried a few months ago and quickly fell in love. I had to restock because I went through it so fast! It is made with aloe, herbs and rosewater which to me smell amazing and so refreshing. This is to hydrate and refresh. It’s great for people who travel often as traveling can leave your skin dehydrated. I love this little set I got because you can also bring it to the airport with no problem.
St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse
A few months ago, I tried St. Tropez for the first time and quickly fell in love. I tried the same product as this one, but the lotion version. I love how naturally tan it makes you look without any streaks and it’s super easy to use! I have the glove, which is the game-changer and highly recommend you use it with the glove. So many people asked me if I went on vacation after using it because my tan looked so natural. I wanted to try the mousse version as well and since this is travel size, I thought it’d be great to bring to the gym. I know many people choose the mousse version vs lotion, but I had no problem with the lotion and plus you get more product out of it!
Essence essence I Love Extreme Volume MascaraMascara & essence Superlast Eyeliner Matte Black
Eyeliner
A couple of months ago, I purchased an essence mascara for the first time and I was super excited about how much I loved it because they are as affordable as drug store can get! I know the mascara will be great, but we’ll see how the eye liner will work. It was buy one get 50% off, so I decided to get this as well. I needed a new liquid eyeliner and if this beats the Stila one I use, then I rather save my money!
L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine in Sparkling Rose 908
I am sooo excited for this one! I’ve already tried it and I’m in love! This is fairly new, a few weeks to be exact, and I was so excited to get my hands on these because the packaging really got to me, but also I was excited that it is something you can wear everyday. This color especially is a wearable color as it is a neutral pinkish/peach color. It feels hydrating and it gives you such a nice color to your face. These lipsticks feel you can wear any shade you want everyday without it looking harsh or too intense!
It Cosmetics Conceal and All-Over Foundation Brush
I’ve been seeing this all over YouTube and thought it was a great brush! It’s two in one, which I think would be great for travelling. One side is for foundation and the other is for concealer. This is great for me because I know I will be getting a good use out of it bringing it to the gym. This brand has some of the most amazing brushes, so I know I won’t be disappointed.
Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil
I’ve heard so many great things about this and know that this is a great brand. I recently colored my hair and need protection for my hair, especially since I wash my hair at the gym and need to blow dry it. This product promises to de-frizz, detangle, soften, silken and protects against heat/UV damage.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum
This is a ride-or-die product to so many people and I thought it was time for me to find out why. I bought a travel size just to try out, and if it’s as magical as everyone says it is then I will definitely repurchase and let you guys know. This product promises to significantly reduce major signs of visible aging. I noticed in the ingredients list that there are some peptide ingredients, which is a good sign as peptides are great for anti-aging.
EcoTools Makeup Brush Cleaning Cloths
Who else hates cleaning their makeup brushes? It is one of my least favorite things to do. I have never tried this, but thought it was a great idea. You can quickly clean your brushes right after you use it. It’s the same thing as a makeup remover cloth but for your brushes. I will keep you guys updated to let you know if actually works in my April favorites.
We have come to an end with my haul! I’m excited to try all of these products, which are mostly all new to me. And as always, anything I love will be fully reviewed at the end of the month!
All the best,
